A British tourist died when he is traveling to the Himalaya mountains in northern India with a friend.
The two British men went in the “extremely difficult terrain” near the village of Thathri in Dharamshala, when one of them was seriously injured, according to the local emergency services, reports BBC, reports Klankosova.tv.
The man was saved and descended from the mountain with a stretcher, but at the time when he arrived in the hospital almost 24 hours later, he said himself to be dead.
The foreign office said they “support the family of a British who died in India and are in contact with the local authorities”.
