The country’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has repeatedly bragged about Kosovo’s police force since his time in office.

However, it was Kurti himself who showered the police with a barrage of insults during his time in opposition.

In one case, Kurti addressed a police officer during a protest in the center of Pristina: “Monkey, monkey, your colleagues in Dumnica humiliated you, your voice was not heard, run away, run away now.”
