The candidate for deputy from the ranks of the LDK, Driton Selmanaj, spoke about the ongoing election campaign on the program “DPT te Fidani” in Klan Kosova this evening and said that what is happening is not a known practice in Kosovo.
He said he believed the ruling party’s abusive language was unique because, he said, the others had invested a lot in care.
“What is happening in this election campaign is not a known practice in Kosovo since the post-war period: the one who wins the elections, the one who governs, has a great mandate of trust, at least until the mandate expires and he concentrates in insult. This means that the opposite happened to us, that the insults usually came from dissatisfied people, from the opposition political parties, perhaps to incite and electrify the masses.”
“They also overdid it with their language, there was an unacceptable tension at times, I say especially in view of the post-war elections and so on, but we still thought that was a thing of the past.”
“We now see that the offensive language is fortunately unique, because it seems that other political parties have reached the level of emancipation by investing a lot in care, in unity, in ending hatred, by calling for unity , because in the end we are different political parties, they differ conceptually, we differ ideologically, but nevertheless we are Kosovo Albanians, we are Albanians of this country, people of this people and as such we do not dare to go that far Insults, even of a personal nature in certain situations, are not possible,” he said.
Selmanaj also called Kurti the former prime minister and said it would be a big loss for Kosovo if this person continued to rule, reports Klankosova.tv.
