Mustafa iPDK-së: Papunësia ka

The leading member of the KDP, Arben Mustafa, criticized the country’s government for constantly announcing an increase in jobs, when in reality there is a decline in economic growth.

Mustafa said that the main factor behind the fall in unemployment is migration, adding that unemployment cannot be treated separately from what is happening in the economy.

“The main factor driving the decline in unemployment is migration. In recent years, the number of Kosovo citizens who received residence permits only in EU countries was 209,000, and this data is reflected in the unemployment data.

“We cannot treat unemployment separately from what is happening in the economy. If we look at what has happened in the economy in recent years, we see that the average economic growth since this government came to power is 3.5%, which is lower than the average economic growth before this government came to power. Before this government came to power, the average economic growth was around 4.6%, while now we are witnessing a slowdown,” Mustafa said in Rubicon, Kosova clan.

In addition, he said that in all these circumstances there is no way to increase employment in a country where there is no increase in economic activity, although, in his opinion, the structure of the economy is the same as before.
