Prime Minister Albin Kurti was not present this year at the memorial ceremonies honoring Kosovo’s late President Ibrahim Rugova, a symbol of national unity.
His absence from the memorial ceremonies organized for today was conspicuous in contrast to his participation in previous years, reports klankosova.tv.
Last year, Prime Minister Kurti paid tribute to the former president’s grave and said in a speech on the occasion that Rugova would be remembered for her role and contribution to the internationalization of the Kosovo issue.
At the events in which Klan Kosova took part, he was not seen in any of the current organizations dedicated to the president, who died in 2006.
