According to the indictment filed on December 20, 2024 by the General Prosecutor’s Office in Prizren, the defendants Sakir Mazrek, Ferdi Taç, Erdinç Morina, Fetah Morina and Visar Shala will be charged on January 29, 2021 in Mamushë in this capacity of public officials in the exercise of their duty or official authority in complicity exceeded their authority in order to derive an advantage from it or for the benefit of the other person or for the sake of the other cause harm to the person or seriously violate the rights of the other person.
The indictment states that the defendant Sakir Mazrek, in his capacity as chairman of the Commission for Assessing Damages Caused by Floods and Heavy Rains in Mamusha Municipality, while the defendants Ferdi Taç, Erdinç Morina, Fetah Morina and Visar Shala is suspected as Commission members unlawfully prepared a report on the assessment of damage and the list of beneficiaries of financial assistance.
According to the indictment, the report prepared on January 29, 2021 contained a list of 169 farmers as recipients of financial support amounting to 416,874 euros and 77 cents. It said that 43 farmers were included from this list in violation of the legal opinion of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MAFDR) dated July 17, 2018 and in violation of a decision on the cancellation of NIF (Farm Identification Numbers). ) who received financial support amounting to 97 thousand 456 euros and 61 cents.
The indictment also states that 13 other people, who are not farmers at all, were included in the list of beneficiaries and received an amount of 22,936 euros and 70 cents. Overall, the damage to the budget of the Republic of Kosovo is estimated at 120,393 euros and 31 cents.
