ATK: 25 vjet punë, mbi 11

The Kosovo Tax Administration celebrated the 25th anniversary of its founding today with a solemn ceremony in the presence of numerous guests.

A press release from this institution emphasizes that those present appreciated the journey of TAK over the last quarter century, highlighted the key role in the construction and development of Kosovo’s institutions, and that the keynote speeches focused on the challenges overcome. The international support for the institutional reforms, digitalization processes and record successes in sales growth given over the years.

TAK General Director Ilir Murtezaj said in his speech that TAK’s mission is to achieve the highest level of voluntary compliance in accordance with current tax legislation and to provide taxpayers with professional, transparent and effective services.

He emphasized that in these 25 years, through professional work, with integrity and honesty, effectiveness and transparency, the Kosovo Tax Administration has collected over 8 billion euros in taxes and over 3 billion euros in pension contributions, i.e. h Total revenue of over 11 billion euros.

In their speeches, the ambassadors of powerful countries in Kosovo praised TAK’s commitment and commitment to building a fair and stable tax system and emphasized the continuous support through international projects and expertise, it said.

The event ended with a special thank you to everyone who has contributed to TAK’s success over the years and a commitment to continue efforts to modernize and further improve services for citizens and businesses.
