The Kosovo police, namely the investigative department for environmental crimes, have taken against the suspicious measures and illegal excavations in a protected archaeological area.
According to the police, a search was carried out on the order of the basic court in Gjilan in the premises and the suspect’s house, where illegally archaeological results were found and confiscated.
“After the public prosecutor’s consultation, the suspect was interviewed and a 48 -hour draft of detention was made against him,” says the police declaration, Klankosova.tv.
The police continued to say that the investigation will continue in the case of the responsible authorities.
