The US message in Tirana has announced all Albanian institutions to suspend support funds after the executive ordinance was signed by President Donald Trump.

“The US Aid programs and implementers supported by us are informed about the move.
This document serves as an official message to the government of the Republic of Albania. The US message politely demands that this announcement are shared to all relevant ministries, institutions and other state companies that work together by existing US foreign assistance programs, including:
Ministry of Finance, including the finance authority
Interior Ministry, including the Albanian state police, the police supervisory authority and the coordination center for the fight against violent extremism
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
Ministry of Justice, including the General Directorate for prisons
Ministry of Defense
Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs
Ministry of Education and Sport
Ministry of Tourism and Environment
Ministry of Health and Social Affairs Wohlene
