The mayor of Washington, DC Muriel Bowser, confirmed in early Thursday that “both planes are in the water” and that 64 people were American Airlines on board and were three in the military helicopter.
“The focus is now on the redemption of people and all of our employees focused on it,” said Bowser.
She refused to comment on recreational or investigative efforts that would be directed by the National Transport Security Board.
Previously, the American Airlines CNN announced that 60 passengers and four crew members were on board the crashed aircraft, reports Klankosova.tv.
